Job summary

NYU London is seeking a Residential Life Coordinator to lead First Year residential services across multiple London residence halls. You will supervise staff, co-develop learning experiences, and enforce university policies while ensuring high-quality support for diverse First Year cohorts.

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level or equivalent qualification/experience.
• Strong organisational and time-management abilities are essential.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across diverse groups.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, supervise staff and support student services.
• Experience delivering inclusive services and handling emergencies or on-call duties.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver residential learning experiences that build leadership and intercultural skills.
• Supervise Residence Life staff and student leaders with a focus on First Year initiatives.
• Provide pastoral support and manage on‑call duty responses for student welfare.
• Enforce safety and university policies across residence halls and coordinate with Campus Safety and Facilities.
• Oversee housing assignments, check-in/check-out, orientations, and occupancy reporting.
• Assist with administrative tasks, reporting, and budget management.
• Be available for non-traditional hours, including evenings and weekends.
