Job summary

The University of Sheffield is seeking a Student Engagement and Development Coordinator to support and enhance the experiences of student residents. You will use your teamwork and communications skills to engage a diverse student community and provide valuable support throughout their time with us.

Join a vibrant team within Accommodation & Commercial Services. The role is on site, full-time, with a focus on Residence Life communications, staff coordination and event delivery.

Qualifications

• Essential: Experience of producing and delivering communications to a targeted audience.
• Essential: Significant social media experience and ability to create engaging content.
• Essential: Excellent IT skills, Microsoft Office and Google Suite; plus creative software tools.
• Essential: Experience with CMS platforms and updating webpages.

Responsibilities

• Lead on Residence Life communication strategies with articles and promotions across webpages, newsletters, emails and social media.
• Collaborate with ACS Marketing to analyse data, produce reports and recommend service improvements.
• Coordinate content for Residence Life webpages and implement in-cycle updates.
• Manage staffing rotas and payroll data in collaboration with Student Support Managers.
