Are you a Customer Service specialist in FMCG or Food looking to work for a progressive, friendly, and ethical company?

Would you enjoy the flexibility of working from home while maintaining lots of interaction through video and phone with colleagues and customers?

This opportunity could be ideal for you. The business is a chilled food processing company seeking someone to manage daily interactions and logistics with key customers to ensure outstanding service and delivery. The role involves:

1. Building strong relationships with customers and taking ownership of orders and inquiries.
2. Communicating customer developments to internal stakeholders.
3. Capturing and processing customer orders and contracts.
4. Managing export contracts and related documentation.
5. Aligning planning across the business and completing execution & reconciliations.
6. Coordinating with customers and hauliers for collection and delivery.
7. Processing customer invoicing.
8. Managing customer queries and complaints.
9. Providing management reporting information as required.
10. Supporting the wider supply chain team with daily operations and strategic projects.

We are looking for a people person who enjoys working closely with colleagues in sales, marketing, finance, production, and the supply chain team.

This is a successful and profitable business with growth plans. The previous person in this role was promoted within 2 years.

Requirements: Experience in a customer-focused logistics role within a manufacturing business in food or FMCG. Salary circa £35-40k plus a strong benefits package.

This is a home-based role. Typically, you will travel 2-5 days per quarter for meetings and work remotely on most days.
