Amey is seeking an Assistant Building Structures Engineer to join our Advisory team in Consulting. The role involves producing technically sound deliverables and supporting senior staff on projects within the Built Environment portfolio.

You will work across multi discipline projects, on-site and in office, with potential for progression toward Incorporated or Chartered status. The company offers development, a competitive salary, pension, and flexible benefits.

Qualifications

• Assist senior staff in producing technically sound deliverables.
• Apply engineering theory with appropriate supervision.
• Ensure compliance with Eurocodes and CDM 2015.
• Demonstrate clear communication with the team and stakeholders.
• Progress toward Incorporated or Chartered status.

Responsibilities

• Work in a team, assisting in producing technically sound engineering solutions, designs, calculations and drawings.
• Carry out general office duties supporting a consulting engineering business.
• On-site work visiting projects or full-time temporary roles, including out of hours.
• Meet budget targets and deadlines as directed by your manager without financial responsibility for the project.
