Job summary

Stafffinders is seeking an experienced Assistant Bar Manager for a prestigious hospitality venue in South Ayrshire. You will support day-to-day management of a busy bar, lead and develop the bar team, and ensure exceptional guest service and premium drinks.

The role requires bar management experience, cocktails, mixology, wine and spirits, stock control and F&B operations. You will uphold brand standards, train staff and contribute to a luxury guest experience.

Qualifications

  • Previous supervisory hospitality experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Food & Beverage service and brand standards.
  • Understanding of food hygiene and sanitation.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Fluency in English; eligibility to live and work in the UK.

Responsibilities

  • Manage workload distribution across the team.
  • Lead by example to maintain high performance and brand standards.
  • Assist guests with menu choices and recommendations.
  • Support profitability and productivity across F&B operations.
  • Communicate and implement the F&B strategy.

Are you an experienced Assistant Bar Manager with a passion for exceptional guest service, premium drinks and leading high-performing bar teams?

We're looking for a talented Assistant Bar Manager to join a prestigious hospitality venue in South Ayrshire. This permanent opportunity will see you support the day-to-day management of a busy bar operation, lead and develop the bar team, maintain outstanding service standards and deliver memorable guest experiences.

With experience in bar management, cocktails, mixology, wine and spirits, stock control, team leadership and Food & Beverage operations, you'll bring energy, professionalism and a hands-on approach to every service. As our Assistant Bar Manager, you will be pivotal in ensuring every guest interaction is exceptional, responding appropriately to all needs and questions. You'll skillfully

Your personality, experience and qualifications

We're looking for a professional and well-presented individual who will lead by example and set high standards for the wider team. You'll have previous supervisory experience, ideally within a similar Food & Beverage or hospitality environment. You'll also bring:

  • Previous experience in a supervisory hospitality role
  • Strong knowledge of Food & Beverage service and brand standards
  • Understanding of food hygiene and sanitation requirements
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Confidence preparing, interpreting and analysing reports
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
  • Fluency in English
  • Eligibility to live and work in the UK
  • A positive attitude and commitment to ongoing learning and development
