A leading gas distribution company is seeking an Asset Integrity Engineer to manage over 2,500 above-ground assets and ensure compliance with safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have a degree in a technical field, experience in asset integrity, and strong problem-solving skills. This role offers a competitive salary up to £59,111, a car allowance, and additional benefits such as a bonus and flexible working policies.

We have an exciting opportunity for an Asset Integrity Engineer to join Northern Gas Networks (NGN). As part of the Asset Integrity team, who are the custodians of all NGN’s assets, you will help manage over 2,500 above‑ground assets, including offtakes and district governors, as well as 37,000 km of pipelines, with 1,200 km operating at high pressure. This role offers real variety and responsibility, ensuring the integrity and safety of critical assets.
We are looking for candidates with strong knowledge of engineering policies and standards, safety management systems, and core engineering principles.
A full UK driving licence is a requirement for this role
