Job summary

PepsiCo UK is seeking an Asset Care Lead based at our Coventry site to drive reliability and lead the Asset Care team. You will provide technical leadership, coaching and ensure maintenance excellence across engineering and operations to deliver safe, compliant and efficient manufacturing performance.

You will coordinate planned outages, root cause investigations and improvements, while partnering with site leadership to prioritise safety, quality and asset care standards across the business.

Qualifications

• Advanced Level 3 Engineering Apprenticeship completed.
• Mechanical or Electrical qualification recognised.
• Strong electro-mechanical fault-finding capability.
• Experience leading maintenance teams in manufacturing.
• Proven ability with root cause analysis and problem solving.
• Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance.
• Experience using SAP PM or equivalent maintenance systems.
• Able to coach and develop engineering teams.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management.
• Strong focus on safety and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day Asset Care function to maximise reliability.
• Coordinate with Reliability Manager and Planners for outages.
• Drive proactive maintenance and fault elimination.
• Provide technical leadership and coaching to technicians.
• Lead Root Cause Analysis and IDA investigations.
• Ensure work orders and SAP data meet standards.
• Support major equipment overhauls and shutdowns.
• Ensure safety and permit-to-work compliance.
• Identify capability gaps and support development plans.
• Provide escalation point for technical issues.
