Job summary

Rolls-Royce Motor Cars at Goodwood is offering a placement year in Assembly Quality Management. You will work on developing and improving production quality, learn the production line complexities, and participate in implementing robust quality improvements as part of a world-class automotive team.

Applicants should be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/IT or a relevant field, with knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Quality Systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering/IT or a relevant course with good academic results.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Manufacturing Systems and Quality Systems is desirable.
• Excellent verbal and written English; German would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Actively solving complex issues related to our production systems.
• Support, coordination and management of specific daily tasks and longer-term projects.
• Co-ordination and steering of key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Support and implementation of quality improvements through complex problem solving.
• Analysis of data sets to give transparency to the target environment and identify improvements.
• Steering and implementation of planning activities to support volume flexibility and new product introduction.
• Support the implementation of the Value Production System and Work Organisation throughout the Assembly process.
• Develop into an all-rounded professional ready to take on challenges.
