Job description

Apply now for the position of Assay Support Specialist (24 month Fixed Term Contract) within our Service Organization, and where you will be working as part of a great team to effectively resolve product performance issues and improvements to support the overall success of the business. This role does require site based work at Llanberis in UK.

Responsibilities
  • You would provide high-quality, worldwide support for our national organizations in the area of reagents and system application for the IMMULITE portfolio with focus on immunoassay and allergy testing.
  • You would process incoming complaints/inquiries to resolve technical issues and support regional support organizations.
  • You would design and perform analytical experiments with the aim of identifying the root cause of product performance issues and optimization of processes.
  • You would promote knowledge transfer and technical communication, as well as create and publish support information.
  • You would review and perform suitable statistical analysis on data generated as a consequence of, or in relation to a technical investigation.
  • You would write and circulate technical reports for all assigned investigations. Generate report and participate in meetings to support the relevant processes.
  • You would need to communicate effectively with all levels of staff within and outside of the department (e.g. R&D, Quality, Marketing, Manufacturing, etc.) in a timely manner with regards to investigation status.
Qualifications
  • Post-graduate or graduate degree in a science discipline or relevant industry experience.
  • Knowledge of immunoassays/in-vitro diagnostics with focus on the IMMULITE system or suitable allergy testing platform.
  • Experience in problem solving or data analysis.
  • High level of self-motivation, good documentation practices (GDP) and ability to work independently.
  • Attention to detail, time management skills, teamwork and commitment.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to work cross-site and cross-function.
