Rudy's Worcester is opening soon and Mission Mars is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead our front-of-house team with energy and drive. You’ll work closely with on‑site senior leaders to shape guest experience, culture, and standards while running shifts and controlling costs.

With a clear path to Deputy or General Manager, you’ll enjoy a competitive £32,900 salary plus monthly tips, up to 32% annual bonus, staff discounts, and extensive training as part of a growing business.

Qualifications

• Experience in a management or senior supervisory role in a hospitality environment.
• Strong leadership presence - you motivate people.
• Commercial awareness and comfort working with labour, budgets, and P&L basics.
• A genuine passion for great food, drink, and the guest experience.
• Resilience, energy, and a hands-on approach.
• Ambition to grow into a Deputy or General Manager - this role is a stepping stone.

Responsibilities

• Leading a high-performing front-of-house team and supporting the General Manager.
• Running shifts independently and owning the floor when on duty.
• Building and maintaining a team culture that people want to be part of.
• Driving standards across service, guest experience, and compliance on every shift.
• Managing labour, scheduling, and day-to-day cost awareness.
• Identifying and developing talent within the team; spotting the next supervisor/manager.
• Handling guest feedback and resolving issues with confidence and good judgement.
• Supporting recruitment, onboarding, and training as the team grows.
