Mission Mars is seeking an Assistant Manager for Rudy's restaurant in Sutton Coldfield. You will run a busy front-of-house, lead a team and partner with the General Manager to drive guest experience, standards and profitability.

You'll own shifts, manage labour and costs, support with recruitment and training, and develop people to grow into Deputy or General Manager roles. A competitive salary with quarterly bonuses and staff benefits awaits.

Qualifications

• Experience in a management or senior supervisory role in a hospitality environment.
• Strong leadership presence and ability to motivate staff.
• Commercial awareness with budgets, labour, and P&L basics.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in leading a high-performing front-of-house team.
• Run shifts independently and own the floor when on duty.
• Build and maintain a positive team culture.
• Drive service standards, guest experience, and compliance on every shift.
• Manage labour, scheduling, and day-to-day cost awareness.
• Identify and develop talent for future supervisor/manager roles.
• Handle guest feedback and resolve issues with good judgement.
• Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and training as needed.
