Places Developments is seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Site Manager to support the Site Manager in coordinating day-to-day construction activities on a residential development. You will help deliver work safely, on time, and to high quality standards, while promoting a proactive safety culture on site.

You will have CSCS supervisor accreditation, SMSTS, a valid First Aid certificate, and knowledge of NHBC standards.

Competenze

• CSCS supervisor accreditation is required.
• SMSTS qualification is required.
• First Aid certificate is required.
• Scaffold Inspection qualification is preferred.
• Knowledge of NHBC standards and building control requirements.
• Previous experience in housebuilding or residential construction.

Mansioni

• Support the Site Manager with day-to-day management of construction activity.
• Promote safe working practices and maintain a professional site culture.
• Monitor quality and ensure Build Stage Inspection processes are followed.
• Carry out health and safety inductions for contractors and visitors.
• Plan and coordinate work packages, site activities and logistics.
• Liaise with contractors, NHBC and stakeholders to keep progress on track.
• Deputise for the Site Manager when required and maintain site discipline.
• Coordinate snagging with new homeowners and ensure timely completion.
