Forbes of Kingennie is seeking an Apprentice Chef to join our kitchen team at a stunning resort near Dundee. This role offers the chance to earn while you learn, gaining hands-on experience in a professional kitchen while working towards a Modern Apprenticeship qualification through Dundee and Angus College.

No prior kitchen experience is required, and we provide comprehensive training and support to help you start a culinary career.

Qualifications

• No prior kitchen experience required; training provided.
• Interest in cooking and hospitality.
• Reliable, organised and hardworking.
• Commitment to completing Modern Apprenticeship qualification.

Responsibilities

• Learn to prepare, cook and present dishes.
• Develop culinary skills with knife and cooking techniques.
• Work with experienced chefs to deliver food for our restaurant and events.
• Follow recipes, menus and presentation standards.
• Maintain food hygiene and kitchen safety.
• Use kitchen equipment safely.
• Work effectively as part of a busy kitchen team.
