Culbokie Inn & The Stable Restaurant offers a paid, full-time Chef Modern Apprenticeship with hands-on training. You’ll work with our chefs, learn practical kitchen skills, and gain a recognised SCQF level 5 Diploma in Professional Cookery. No previous kitchen experience required—bring enthusiasm and a desire to learn.

You’ll receive support from our team and UHI throughout the apprenticeship, gaining real experience to launch your hospitality career.

Qualifications

• Enthusiastic, reliable and keen to learn.
• Previous kitchen experience is not essential – attitude and interest in food matter most.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside our chefs and learn practical kitchen skills.
• Help prepare, cook and present dishes for our menus.
• Learn food safety, allergens and how a professional kitchen works.
• Become more confident and take on more responsibility as you develop.
