Job summary

Foot Anstey LLP is recruiting a Business Development Coordinator to join the Client Development team on a hybrid basis, based in Bristol or Exeter. The role supports BD activities, content generation, and sector research to identify opportunities.

You’ll collaborate with BD Managers and Executives, manage communications, and assist with events, CRM tasks, and directory submissions while delivering reliable administrative support across the team.

Qualifications

• Previous admin experience in a business environment.
• Interest in starting a career in business development with a passion for learning.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail (proofreading).
• Good stakeholder engagement and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment adapting to changing priorities.
• Confident PowerPoint, Word, and Excel capabilities.
• Shared passion for innovation, collaboration, and achieving great things together.

Responsibilities

• Support a friendly and collaborative Business Development team who support BD activities and client development.
• Support BD Managers and Executives with their activities and client and campaign development.
• External and internal communications – generate content for channels.
• Company/sector research to support planning and drive sector strategies and opportunities.
• Events and hospitality – ad hoc industry event support.
• CRM – ensure marketing lists are updated.
• Coordinate and submit legal directories.
• Support the Principal Partner relationship with Bristol Bears.
• Provide varied administrative support across the team.
