Job summary

Holcim UK is seeking a reliable Plant Operative to join the Liverpool Asphalt Plant on a full-time, permanent basis. You will support safe and efficient asphalt production and help keep the site running smoothly on rotating day and night shifts.

Experience with weighbridge operations is preferred; full training will be provided for other areas such as loading shovel duties and asphalt mixing processes.

Qualifications

• Experience working on a weighbridge is beneficial.
• Willing to learn new skills and support different operational areas as required.
• Comfortable with rotating day and night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe and efficient operation of the asphalt plant.
• Operate the weighbridge and assist with vehicle movements.
• Assist with asphalt production, mixing operations and material handling.
• Carry out loading shovel operations and support general plant activities after training.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping, safety and basic plant maintenance across the site.
