Job summary

Heidelberg Materials UK is seeking a General Operative to join the asphalt production team in Maidstone. This hands-on role emphasizes safety, teamwork and quality as you help operate plant equipment, perform inspections and support maintenance.

You’ll be integral to efficient production and compliance, with opportunities to support operations across nearby Heidelberg Materials sites and contribute to UK infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Operate static and mobile plant equipment safely and efficiently.

• Maintain housekeeping across site.
• Support start-up/shutdown procedures and maintenance tasks.
• Complete records and safety documentation accurately.
