Job summary

Heidelberg Materials UK is seeking an Asphalt Plant Operative to join our team, operating and maintaining the asphalt plant to deliver high-quality materials safely. This hands-on role requires practical mechanical skills and a proactive approach to daily planning, inspection, and record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor the asphalt plant to meet production targets and quality standards.
• Plan daily production to ensure efficient delivery and plant performance.
• Manage start-up and shut-down procedures to maximise output within capacity.
• Carry out routine inspections and maintenance within competence.
• Maintain accurate operational, maintenance and safety records.
• Promote health, safety and environmental culture on site.
