Job summary

4K Consulting Ltd is recruiting a Plant Operative to join our asphalt plant team in Corby. The role involves batching asphalt, weighing materials, and assisting with general site duties in a small, supportive team environment.

The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, be flexible with hours, and show willingness to learn and develop. H&S is paramount on site, and prior loading shovel experience is a bonus.

Qualifications

• Loading shovel ticket would be beneficial.
• Experience in environments with strict H&S protocols is valued.
• Positive attitude and keen to learn and develop.

Responsibilities

• Batch asphalt as part of a small team of 3.
• Operate the weighbridge to record materials.
• Operate the loading shovel when required.
• Carry out general site maintenance tasks.
• Support with day-to-day plant operations and safety procedures.

The role

• Working with a team of 3 across at an asphalt plant
• Batching asphalt
• Operating the weighbridge
• Operating the loading shovel
• General site maintenance
• Mon- Fri 5:30am to 4:30pm, every other Sat AM, and Sun/ Nights when required

What you need

• A positive attitude to work and keen to learn & develop
• Flexibility in terms of hours, days, and responsibilities
• A loading shovel ticket would be beneficial
• Any experience of asphalt, concrete, cement, aggregates etc, would be beneficial
• Experience of working in an environment where H&S is paramount
