Attic Self Storage Ltd. in Greater London is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager, drive sales targets and ensure exceptional customer experiences. When the Store Manager is away, you’ll run the store and lead day‑to‑day operations.

You’ll coach the team to hit occupancy and revenue targets, recruit and train staff, manage stock and budgets, and deliver promotions using sales reports to identify opportunities. A strong path for career development awaits.

Qualifications

• Experience as an Assistant Store Manager or similar in retail, sales or customer service.
• Track record in consultative selling and customer service.
• Telesales experience (desirable).
• Clear communication and strong people skills.
• Strong literacy and numeracy.

Responsabilités

• Lead sales, set and drive targets, and motivate the team.
• Raise service levels and build lasting customer relationships.
• Recruit, train, schedule and supervise the sales team; provide feedback.
• Manage stock levels, audits, and support budgeting and reporting.

The role

You’ll support the Store Manager to hit sales targets and give customers a great experience. When the Store Manager is away, you run the store.

You’ll:

• Lead sales. Set and drive sales, occupancy and revenue targets, and keep the team motivated to hit them.
• Raise the service bar. Coach the team to give outstanding service and build lasting customer relationships.
• Manage the team. Recruit, train, schedule and supervise the sales team, and give them regular feedback and support.
• Look after stock and budget. Manage stock levels and audits, and support the store’s budget and financial reporting.
• Run the store. Handle day-to-day operations, including opening and closing, safety and compliance.
• Drive marketing and reporting. Deliver in-store promotions and use sales reports to spot trends and opportunities.

What you’ll bring

• Experience as an Assistant Store Manager, or a similar role in retail, sales or customer service
• A track record in consultative selling and customer service
• Telesales experience (highly desirable)
• Clear communication and strong people skills
• Strong literacy and numeracy
• Confidence with Microsoft Office
• Self-motivation, drive and a positive attitude
• You must live within 30 minutes of the store
