Job summary

Lucion is recruiting an Asbestos Surveyor to join our field-based team in Birmingham and surrounding areas. You will conduct Management, Refurbishment and Demolition surveys across diverse sites, ensuring accuracy, compliance and clear reporting on each project.

Ideal candidates hold BOHS P402 or an equivalent qualification, a valid UK driving licence, and are comfortable traveling across the West Midlands. You will work with a supportive team, maintaining safety and quality as a core priority.

Qualifications

• Hold BOHS P402, an RSPH equivalent qualification, or a Certificate of Competence.
• Have a good working knowledge of HSG264 (The Survey Guide).
• Hold a full UK manual driving licence.
• Be based in or around Birmingham, the West Midlands or the surrounding areas.
• Be comfortable travelling across the West Midlands and the wider Midlands, and occasionally further afield.

Responsibilities

• Carry out all disciplines of asbestos surveying and inspection, including Management, Refurbishment and Demolition Surveys, plus asbestos in the ground.
• Travel across Birmingham, the West Midlands and surrounding areas to client sites.
• Collect accurate site data using a phablet, producing high-quality reports through our NexGen system.
• Work in line with all relevant asbestos legislation and guidance.
• Maintain QHSE documentation and follow internal assurance processes.
• Provide a professional, friendly service to clients and colleagues.
