Job summary

Lucion is seeking an Asbestos Surveyor for the Hazardous Materials team, based around Birmingham, West Midlands. This field-based, full-time role involves carrying out asbestos surveys across commercial buildings and public-sector estates, delivering accurate data and compliant reporting.

You will hold BOHS P402 or an equivalent qualification, with knowledge of HSG264, and a full UK driving licence. Travel across the West Midlands and occasional further afield is expected, with out-of-hours work

Qualifications

• Holder of BOHS P402 or an equivalent qualification (RSPH or Certificate of Competence).
• Knowledge of HSG264 (The Survey Guide).
• Full UK driving licence required.
• Based in or around Birmingham / West Midlands with ability to travel widely.
• Willingness to travel across the West Midlands and occasional longer trips.
• Flexible for occasional out-of-hours work.

Responsibilities

• Carry out asbestos surveying across Birmingham, the West Midlands and surrounding areas (Management, Refurbishment and Demolition Surveys).
• Travel to client sites and inspect various buildings and estates.
• Collect accurate site data with a phablet and produce high-quality NexGen reports.
• Comply with HSE requirements, HSG264 and construction regulations.
• Maintain QHSE documentation and internal processes.
• Provide professional, clear advice to clients and colleagues.
• Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues and contractors.
• Deliver accurate, consistent work without shortcuts.
