Job summary

Lucion, based around Solihull, is seeking an Asbestos Surveyor to join our Hazardous Materials team. You’ll carry out asbestos surveying across commercial buildings and public estates, using NexGen reports and following HSG264 guidance.

You’ll hold BOHS P402 or equivalent, a UK driving licence, and be willing to travel across the West Midlands. A diligent, independent worker who can deliver accurate reporting is essential.

Qualifications

• BOHS P402 or RSPH equivalent qualification or Certificate of Competence.
• Good working knowledge of HSG264 (The Survey Guide).
• Full UK manual driving licence.
• Based in or around Solihull, West Midlands or surrounding areas.
• Willing to travel across the West Midlands and wider Midlands.
• Flexible for occasional out-of-hours work.
• Independent worker with team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Carry out all disciplines of asbestos surveying and inspection (Management, Refurbishment and Demolition).
• Travel across Solihull and surrounding areas to client sites.
• Collect accurate site data and produce high-quality reports via NexGen.
• Operate in line with asbestos legislation and guidance (HSG264, HSE).
• Maintain QHSE documentation and internal processes.
• Provide professional service and clear client consultation.
• Communicate clearly with clients, colleagues and contractors.
• Deliver accurate, consistent work without shortcuts.
