Job summary

Lucion is seeking an Asbestos Surveyor to join its Hazardous Materials team, covering London and surrounding areas. This hands-on field-based role involves performing Management, Refurbishment and Demolition surveys, collecting accurate data, and delivering high-quality NexGen reports with strict adherence to HSG264 and safety standards.

You will travel across London, work on diverse sites, and interact with clients to provide clear guidance while maintaining professional judgment and accuracy

Qualifications

• BOHS P402, an RSPH equivalent qualification, or Certificate of Competence.
• Solid working knowledge of HSG264 (The Survey Guide).
• Full UK manual driving licence.
• Willingness to travel across London and beyond.
• Occasional out‑of‑hours work flexibility.
• Ability to work independently within a team.
• Strong work ethic and professional site approach.
• Thorough, dependable and client‑facing.

Responsibilities

• Carry out all disciplines of asbestos surveying and inspection (Management, Refurbishment and Demolition).
• Travel across London and surrounding region to sites.
• Collect accurate site data with a phablet and produce reports via NexGen.
• Follow HSG264, HSE requirements and construction regulations.
• Keep QHSE documentation up to date and adhere to processes.
• Provide clear advice and interpretation to clients on site.
• Represent Lucion professionally at all times.
