Penguin Recruitment is seeking an experienced Asbestos Surveyor/Analyst for Basildon, Essex. The role combines surveying and analytical duties across commercial, domestic and public sector sites, with a true dual-focus workload.

Responsibilities

• Manage workload across multiple sites.
• Liaise with clients, contractors and internal teams.
• Maintain high health and safety and quality standards.

Salary: £36,000 - £42,000 (depending on experience)

A well-established UKAS-accredited asbestos consultancy is looking to appoint an experienced Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst to support a busy and expanding workload across Basildon and the wider Essex region. The Role

• Carrying out Management and Refurbishment & Demolition (R&D) asbestos surveys
• Undertaking air monitoring, including 4-stage clearances and reoccupation certification
• Conducting bulk sampling and ensuring compliance with procedures
• Producing accurate, compliant reports in line with HSG264 and HSG248
• Managing workload across multiple sites
• Liaising with clients, contractors, and internal teams
• Maintaining high standards of health & safety and quality

About You

• BOHS P402, P403 & P404 (essential)
