Penguin Recruitment is seeking an experienced Asbestos Surveyor Analyst to support a busy workload across Basildon and Essex. The role offers a mix of surveying and analytical duties across commercial, domestic, and public sector sites.

Qualifications

• Proven communication and report-writing skills.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.
• Experience as an Asbestos Surveyor Analyst or dual role is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out Management, Refurbishment and Demolition surveys (R&D) for asbestos per HSG264.
• Perform air monitoring, including four-stage clearance and reoccupation certification.
• Conduct reassurance, leak, background and personal air testing where required.
• Do bulk sampling and ensure correct procedures are followed.
• Produce accurate, compliant survey and analytical reports per HSG264/HSG248.
• Work across commercial, domestic and public sector properties.
• Manage workload efficiently across multiple sites.
• Liaise professionally with clients, contractors and internal teams.
• Maintain high standards of health, safety, quality and compliance.

The Role

• Carrying out Management and Refurbishment and Demolition (R and D) asbestos surveys in accordance with HSG264

About You

• BOHS P402, P403 and P404 qualifications (essential)
• Previous experience working in an Asbestos Surveyor Analyst or dual role
• Strong understanding of HSG264, HSG248, and current asbestos legislation
• Experience working within a UKAS:accredited consultancy is desirable
• Full UK driving licence
• Strong communication and report:writing skills
• Ability to manage your own workload independently
• Professional, organised, and reliable approach to work
