Job summary

Penguin Recruitment are seeking an experienced Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst to join a UKAS-accredited consultancy in Nottingham. The role blends surveying and analytical duties across commercial, industrial, and public sector sites, offering variety and long-term stability.

You’ll work across the East Midlands with a supportive team, handling management, refurbishment and demolition surveys, air monitoring and reporting in line with HSG264/HSG248, with a competitive salary package and ongoing

Qualifications

• BOHS P402, P403 & P404 essential.
• Experience in dual Surveyor/Analyst role preferred.
• Strong understanding of asbestos legislation and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Carry out Management, Refurbishment & Demolition asbestos surveys as per HSG264.
• Undertake air monitoring including 4-stage clearances and reoccupation certification.
• Produce accurate, compliant reports in line with HSG264 and HSG248.
• Manage workload across multiple sites in the East Midlands.
• Liaise with clients, contractors and internal teams.

The Role

Carrying out Management, Refurbishment & Demolition (R&D) asbestos surveys in line with HSG264

Undertaking air monitoring, including 4-stage clearances and reoccupation certification

Conducting bulk sampling and ensuring compliance with procedures

Producing accurate, compliant reports in line with HSG264 and HSG248

Managing workload across multiple sites throughout the East Midlands

Liaising with clients, contractors, and internal teams

Maintaining high standards of health & safety and quality

About You

BOHS P402, P403 & P404 (essential)

Experience working in a dual Surveyor / Analyst role

Strong understanding of asbestos legislation and compliance

Ability to manage workload independently

Full UK driving licence
