Job summary

Bimplus in Newport is seeking an experienced Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst to support a busy workload across Newport and the wider South Wales region.

The role combines management, refurbishment and demolition surveys with air monitoring and reporting, offering long-term stability and a strong benefits package.

The ideal candidate will hold BOHS P402/ P403/ P404, have a clean UK driving licence and be able to manage multiple sites with high standards of health and safety.

Qualifications

• BOHS P402, P403 & P404 (essential).
• Experience in a dual Surveyor/Analyst role.
• Strong knowledge of asbestos legislation and compliance.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out Management, Refurbishment & Demolition (R&D) asbestos surveys in line with HSG264.
• Undertake air monitoring, including 4-stage clearance and reoccupation certification.
• Conduct bulk sampling and ensure compliance with procedures.
• Produce accurate, compliant reports in line with HSG264 and HSG248.
• Manage workload across multiple sites throughout South Wales.
• Liaise with clients, contractors and internal teams.
• Maintain high standards of health & safety and quality.

The Role
