Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst

Location: Leeds, West Yorkshire

Salary: £36,000 - £42,000 (depending on experience)

Contract: Permanent | Full-time

A well-established UKAS-accredited asbestos consultancy is looking to appoint an experienced Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst to support a busy and growing workload across Leeds and the wider Yorkshire region. The Role

• Carrying out Management, Refurbishment & Demolition (R&D) asbestos surveys in accordance with HSG264
• Undertaking air monitoring, leak testing, reassurance testing, and 4-stage clearances in accordance with HSG248
• Conducting bulk sampling and ensuring correct procedures are followed
• Producing accurate and compliant asbestos survey and analytical reports
• Working across commercial, industrial, education, healthcare, and public sector sites
• Managing workload independently across Leeds and the wider Yorkshire region
• Liaising professionally with clients, contractors, and site personnel
• Ensuring all work complies with current legislation, HSE guidance, and company procedures

About You

• BOHS P402, P403 & P404 (essential)
• Previous experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst
• Confident undertaking surveying and analytical duties independently
• Strong understanding of HSG264, HSG248, and current asbestos legislation
• Full UK driving licence
• Strong communication and report-writing skills
• Professional, organised, and reliable
