Job summary

Future Select Recruitment is seeking a qualified Asbestos Surveyor for client sites in the Tamworth area. The role involves carrying out management, refurbishment and demolition surveys, collecting samples, and reporting findings.

Independent on-site work and ongoing training are offered. Candidates should hold BOHS P402 (or equivalent) and demonstrate strong technical reporting skills, literacy, numeracy, and IT proficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor or Asbestos Surveyor
• Qualified with a BOHS P402 (or RSPH surveying equivalent)
• Confident articulating technical matters and reports

Responsibilities

• Attending client sites to perform management, refurbishment and demolition asbestos surveys
• Conducting ad-hoc reinspection surveys
• Collecting ACM samples from site
• Producing detailed technical reports and schematic drawings
• Acting as a key point of contact for clients and providing advice
• Representing the company professionally
• Adhering to UKAS and HSG 264 guidelines
• Travelling in line with company needs

Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor

Location: Tamworth, West Midlands

Salary/Benefits: £27k - £43k + Training & Benefits

We are recruiting in the Midlands region for a qualified and knowledgeable Asbestos Surveyor. Our client is a privately-owned Asbestos Consultancy, who have a UK wide presence and range of domestic and local authority contracts. They are seeking someone who is fully signed off for all surveys, who will be confident working independently on site. Experience / Qualifications:

• Experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor or Asbestos Surveyor
• Will have worked within a UKAS accredited outfit
• Qualified with the BOHS P402 (or RSPH surveying equivalent)
• Able to articulate technical matters
• Good literacy and numeracy skills
• Confident using IT software to complete reports

The Role:
