Job summary

Future Select Recruitment is recruiting an Asbestos Surveyor for site-based work across the Redditch area in the West Midlands. You will undertake management, refurbishment and demolition asbestos surveys on a mix of commercial, domestic and local authority sites, producing site-specific survey reports with floorplans and drawings.

The ideal candidate will hold BOHS P402 (or RSPH equivalent), have on-site asbestos surveying experience, and be able to work to safety guidelines and deadlines.

Qualifications

• BOHS P402 (or RSPH equivalent) qualification.
• Experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor.
• Technical knowledge of UKAS and HSG 264 guidelines.
• Strong interpersonal skills and report-writing ability.
• Able to produce detailed site survey reports.

Responsibilities

• Undertaking management, refurbishment and demolition asbestos surveys.
• Working across commercial, domestic and local authority sites.
• Producing site-specific survey reports, including floorplans and drawings.
• Safely collecting samples from site and following safety guidance.
• Working to deadlines and maintaining client relationships.

Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor

Location: Redditch, West Midlands

Salary/Benefits: £25k - £44k DOE + Training & Benefits

We are recruiting for a keen and diligent Asbestos Surveyor in the West Midlands region, to join a UKAS accredited Asbestos consultancy. The ideal candidate will come with proven on-site experience, and will have a dedicated and professional manner. Due to recently winning new contracts, our client has the potential to consider multiple applicants to undertake asbestos surveyors on a mixed portfolio of sites. They are offering excellent salaries and comprehensive benefits packages, including: training, overtime, company pension scheme and use of a company vehicle.

Experience / Qualifications:

• Will be qualified with the BOHS P402 (or RSPH equivalent)
• Experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor
