Job summary

Future Select Recruitment is seeking an Asbestos Surveyor to cover Guildford and surrounding districts. You will conduct management, refurbishment and demolition surveys, take ACM samples, and prepare bespoke technical reports while managing your diary and liaising with clients.

A BOHS P402 or RSPH equivalent is required, with strong literacy, numeracy and IT skills. Salary between £27k and £43k plus training and benefits, plus a company vehicle.

• BOHS P402 or RSPH equivalent.
• Knowledge of UKAS and HSG 264 guidelines.
• Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct management, refurbishment and demolition asbestos surveys.
• Carry out re-inspection surveys.
• Collect ACM samples and bag correctly.
• Collate findings to create bespoke technical reports.
• Schedule own diary and act as client contact.
• Maintain high standards of service and safety.

We are recruiting on behalf of a growing and privately owned Asbestos outfit. Our client is seeking a reliable and qualified Asbestos Surveyor to join their developing team. Ideally, applicants will be able to hit the ground running, and will come with a wealth of industry knowledge. You will be predominantly covering commercial and domestic premises across the region. We can also consider candidates who hold industry qualifications and would be looking to build on their site experience, within a supportive and professional environment. • Experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor
• Will hold the BOHS P402 or RSPH equivalent
• Robust industry knowledge, including: UKAS and HSG 264 guidelines
• Hardworking attitude
• Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills
• Strong interpersonal skills

The Role:

• Conducting management, refurbishment and demolition asbestos surveys
• Re-inspection surveys
• Collecting ACM samples and bagging correctly
• Collating findings to create bespoke technical reports

• Supporting scheduling of your own diary
• Acting as a key point of contact for clients, fostering strong relationships and providing advice / support
• Maintaining high standards of service
• Adhering to industry safety guidelines
