Job summary

Skillmatch Recruitment Ltd is seeking an Asbestos Surveyor to join a growing facilities management contractor in the UK. You will conduct sampling, reinspections and surveys in domestic, commercial, and industrial properties in line with HSG264.

You will collect samples, prepare reports, build client relationships and provide specialist advice, while liaising with QA teams and project managers to uphold high standards and professional service.

Qualifications

• BOHS P402 qualification (or equivalent).
• Experience in asbestos surveying across domestic, commercial and industrial sectors.
• Full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct asbestos sampling and surveys (Management, Refurbishment and Demolition) per HSG264.
• Collect site data and transport samples to UKAS labs.
• Prepare survey reports and drawings using company software.
• Manage client relationships and provide technical support.

Due to an increase in upcoming projects, there is now a need for an Asbestos Surveyor to join this highly successful and forward-thinking organisation.

We are looking for an Asbestos Surveyor who wants to work in a diverse role where no two days are the same.

The Asbestos Surveyor, will be responsible for:

• Conduct asbestos sampling, reinspections, Management, Refurbishment and Demolition surveys on a wide range of domestic, commercial and industrial properties in accordance with HSG264 and company procedures
• Collect site data and transport asbestos samples to UKAS‑accredited laboratories approved by the company
• Complete asbestos survey reports and drawings using company software
• Build and maintain client relationships, providing specialist advice and technical support where required
• Liaise with the Asbestos Surveying Quality team, Contracts team, Project Managers, Supervisors and clients as required, while setting a personal example and promoting the company in a professional manner at all times

To be successful for this Asbestos Surveyor role you must have:

• BOHS P402 qualified (or equivalent)
• Strong knowledge of asbestos surveying across domestic, commercial and/or industrial sectors
• Full UK driving licence
• Committed to delivering high standards while maintaining a healthy work‑life balance.
