Job summary

Penguin Recruitment Ltd in the UK is seeking an experienced Asbestos Surveyor to support a busy portfolio across the M3 Corridor, including Southampton, Winchester, Basingstoke and surrounding areas. The role focuses on surveying duties with a diverse range of projects across commercial, industrial, education, healthcare and public sector properties.

You will perform Management, Refurbishment & Demolition surveys in line with HSG264, conduct bulk sampling, and produce compliant survey reports.

Qualifications

• BOHS P402 (essential)
• Minimum 2 years’ experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor
• Strong understanding of HSG264 and asbestos legislation
• Experience working within a UKAS-accredited consultancy preferred
• Full UK driving licence
• Professional, organised, and reliable

Responsibilities

• Carrying out Management, Refurbishment & Demolition (R&D) asbestos surveys in line with HSG264
• Conducting bulk sampling across a variety of commercial and public sector properties
• Producing accurate and compliant asbestos survey reports
• Surveying commercial, industrial, healthcare, education, and public sector sites throughout the M3 Corridor
• Managing workload independently with support from an established operations team
• Ensuring all work complies with current legislation and HSE guidance

A well-established UKAS-accredited asbestos consultancy is looking to appoint an experienced Asbestos Surveyor to support a busy and expanding portfolio of work across the M3 Corridor, covering Southampton, Winchester, Basingstoke, and the surrounding areas.
