Job summary

Skillmatch Recruitment Ltd on behalf of a leading UK facilities management contractor is seeking an Asbestos Surveyor to join a growing, forward-thinking team. You will conduct sampling, reinspections and surveys across diverse properties, and produce survey reports and drawings using company software.

You will build strong client relationships and provide specialist advice, while liaising with project teams. A BOHS P402 qualification (or equivalent) and a full UK driving licence are required.

Qualifications

• BOHS P402 qualification (or equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of asbestos surveying across domestic, commercial and/or industrial sectors.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Conduct asbestos sampling, reinspections, Management, Refurbishment and Demolition surveys across a variety of property types.
• Collect site data and transport asbestos samples to company-approved UKAS-accredited laboratories.
• Complete asbestos survey reports and drawings using company software.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing technical advice and specialist support when required.
• Liaise with Surveying Quality, Contracts, Projects Managers and Supervisors as needed, maintaining a professional approach at all times.

Due to an increase in upcoming projects, there is now a need for an Asbestos Surveyor to join this highly successful and forward-thinking organisation.

We are looking for an Asbestos Surveyor who wants to work in a diverse role where no two days are the same.

The Asbestos Surveyor will be responsible for:
