Job summary

Penguin Recruitment Ltd in London is seeking an experienced Asbestos Surveyor to join a UKAS-accredited consultancy, delivering management, refurbishment and demolition surveys across commercial, industrial, education, healthcare and public sector properties.

You will carry out surveys in line with HSG264, produce accurate survey reports, and work within a supportive operations team on a varied workload across London and the South East, with long-term career progression and a competitive salary.

Qualifications

• BOHS P402 (essential)
• Minimum 2 years' experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor
• Strong understanding of HSG264 and asbestos legislation
• Experience working within a UKAS-accredited consultancy preferred
• Full UK driving licence
• Professional, organised, and reliable

Responsibilities

• Carrying out Management, Refurbishment & Demolition (R&D) asbestos surveys in line with HSG264
• Conducting bulk sampling across a variety of property types
• Producing accurate and compliant asbestos survey reports
• Surveying commercial, industrial, healthcare, education, and public sector sites
• Managing workload independently with support from an established operations team
• Ensuring all work complies with current legislation and HSE guidance
