You will carry out asbestos surveys across various client sites, ensuring compliance with HSG264 and current legislation, while managing your workload and coordinating with clients and internal teams.

The ideal candidate holds BOHS P402, has UKAS experience, a full driving licence, and excellent report-writing and communication skills.

• Experience as an Asbestos Surveyor in a UKAS-accredited consultancy.
• Strong knowledge of HSG264 and current asbestos legislation.

Responsibilities

• Perform Management and Refurbishment & Demolition asbestos surveys per HSG264.
• Take bulk asbestos samples across various property types.
• Produce accurate, compliant asbestos survey reports.
• Work across commercial, industrial, domestic, and public sector sites.
• Manage own workload and daily schedule efficiently.
• Liaise professionally with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
• Ensure compliance with asbestos legislation and HSE guidance.

THE ROLE

As an Asbestos Surveyor, you will be responsible for carrying out asbestos surveys across a wide range of client sites throughout Birmingham and the surrounding region.

Working independently and with the support of an experienced operations team, you will deliver high-quality surveying services while ensuring full compliance with current legislation, HSE guidance, and UKAS procedures.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Carrying out Management and Refurbishment & Demolition (R&D) asbestos surveys in accordance with HSG264
• Conducting bulk asbestos sampling across a variety of property types
• Producing accurate and compliant asbestos survey reports
• Working across commercial, industrial, domestic, and public sector properties
