Job summary

Penguin Recruitment is seeking an experienced Asbestos Surveyor to join our client’s team in Norwich and the wider East Anglia region. The role focuses on surveying duties across diverse properties, offering a stable pipeline of work and clear career progression.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of asbestos surveying experience, BOHS P402 certification, and a strong grasp of HSG264. A full UK driving licence is also required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor.
• Strong understanding of HSG264 and asbestos legislation.
• Experience working within a UKAS-accredited consultancy preferred.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out Management, Refurbishment & Demolition (R&D) asbestos surveys in line with HSG264.
• Conducting bulk sampling across a variety of property types.
• Producing accurate and compliant asbestos survey reports.
• Surveying commercial, industrial, healthcare, education, and public sector sites.
• Managing workload independently with support from an established operations team.
• Ensuring all work complies with current legislation and HSE guidance.

A well-established UKAS-accredited asbestos consultancy is looking to appoint an experienced Asbestos Surveyor to support a growing workload across Norwich and the wider East Anglia region.
