Job summary

Penguin Recruitment is seeking an experienced Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst to support projects across Nottingham and the East Midlands. This permanent, full-time role offers a structured workload and opportunities for growth in a dual-qualified capacity with emphasis on HSG264 and HSG248 standards.

The position includes a 40-hour week, 22 days annual leave plus bank holidays, and a company vehicle. Strong knowledge of asbestos legislation and a full UK driving licence are essential.

Qualifications

• BOHS P402/P403/P404 certification required or equivalent.
• Experience as Surveyor/Analyst or in dual role.
• Strong knowledge of asbestos legislation and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Delivering Management, Refurbishment, and Demolition Surveys in line with HSG264 guidance.
• Undertaking air monitoring, four stage clearances, leak testing, and sampling per HSG248.
• Producing accurate survey and analytical reports for domestic and commercial properties.
• Managing diary and workload, ensuring compliance with current legislation and HSE guidance.

A well-established environmental consultancy is looking to recruit an experienced Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst to support projects across Nottingham and the wider East Midlands region.

This is an excellent opportunity for a dual-qualified Surveyor / Analyst to join a stable consultancy with a structured workload and strong pipeline of work across domestic and commercial properties.

The Role

• Delivering Management, Refurbishment, and Demolition Surveys in line with HSG264 guidance
• Undertaking air monitoring, four stage clearances, leak testing, and reassurance sampling in line with HSG248
• Working across a range of domestic and commercial properties
• Producing accurate and compliant survey and analytical reports
• Managing your own diary and workload effectively
• Ensuring all work complies with current legislation and HSE guidance

Requirements
