Job summary

Citizen Housing Group in Birmingham is seeking a dedicated ASB Service Lead to manage a team of Safer Neighbourhood Officers. You will guide complex casework, ensure lawful practice, and strengthen community safety across Citizen’s properties.

You will oversee enforcement tools, collaborate with police and authorities, and use data-driven insights to improve service delivery and outcomes for residents.

Qualifications

• Experience leading ASB or neighbourhood casework in housing, local authority, policing, or community safety settings.
• Strong understanding of ASB and enforcement tools under current legislation.
• Evidence of continued professional development in housing, community safety, or neighbourhood management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Safer Neighbourhood Officers with clear expectations and high-quality case management.
• Provide expert guidance on complex or high-risk ASB cases across the team.
• Ensure ASB casework is recorded, progressed on timescales, and documented with evidence.
• Authorise ASB enforcement actions and attend court as required.
• Promote community reassurance and safety initiatives within the community.
• Represent Citizen at multi-agency meetings with police, local authorities, safeguarding teams and partners.
• Use performance data and resident feedback to improve service delivery.
