Job summary

The successful candidate will work with teachers and pastoral staff to maintain a calm, structured environment and build trusting relationships with pupils, contributing to their confidence and independence.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children or young people with challenging behaviour, SEMH or additional needs.
• Calm, patient, and resilient with ability to build positive relationships.

Responsibilities

• Providing 1:1 and small group support to pupils
• Supporting pupils with SEMH, ASD, ADHD and behavioural needs
• Helping pupils develop emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies
• Building strong, trusting relationships with young people
• Supporting pupils to engage positively with learning
• Providing encouragement and consistency throughout the school day
• Helping maintain a calm, structured and positive environment
• Working closely with Teachers, Teaching Assistants and pastoral staff
