Job summary

Aspire People, a specialist education recruitment agency, is seeking a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to join a SEN school in Hinckley.

You will provide tailored support to pupils with behavioural needs, helping them develop emotional wellbeing and engagement in learning, while working closely with teachers and SEN staff.

The role is Monday–Friday, term-time only, at £105 per day, with an ASAP start dependent on availability.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people with behavioural needs.
• Calm, patient and consistent approach.
• Ability to build relationships with pupils who may struggle to engage.
• Resilient and able to stay composed in challenging situations.
• Committed to term-time, Monday–Friday.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils.
• Support pupils with challenging and complex behaviours.
• Help pupils develop positive behaviour and coping strategies.
• Assist with emotional regulation and social development.
• Build positive relationships with pupils.
• Help re-engage pupils in learning.
