Job summary

Academics is seeking a Behaviour Teaching Assistant in Westminster to start ASAP. You will support pupils with challenging behaviour and help them access learning.

The role involves 1:1 and small group support, building positive relationships, and working with teachers and SEN staff to implement strategies for SEMH, ASD, ADHD.

The position offers daily pay between 100 and 120 and is ideal for someone patient, resilient and committed to helping pupils reach their potential.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting pupils with behavioural, emotional, social, or additional learning needs.
• Calm under pressure and consistent in challenging situations.
• Excellent communication and teamwork with teachers and SEN staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with behavioural needs
• Build positive relationships with students
• Support pupils with SEMH, ASD, ADHD and other needs
• Help implement individual behaviour and learning strategies
• Encourage positive behaviour and emotional regulation
• Work alongside teachers and SEN staff to support pupil progress
• Help create a calm, structured, and nurturing learning environment
