Job summary

Dawsongroup EMC is seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to win new business across the Waste, Recycling and Municipal sectors in a designated region. You will promote rental and contract hire solutions, targeting local authorities and commercial fleet operators to drive revenue and fleet utilisation.

You will build lasting relationships with decision makers, manage long sales cycles, and work across public and private organisations to deliver sustainable fleet solutions.

Qualifications

• Previous business development or sales experience within waste, recycling, municipal, environmental or specialist fleet sectors.
• Strong ability to open new doors and build long-term customer relationships.
• Experience engaging with decision makers across public and private organisations.
• Comfort with managing lengthy sales cycles and procurement processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities for waste, recycling and municipal equipment and fleet solutions.
• Target local authorities and waste operators with rental and contract hire offerings.
• Promote rental and contract hire solutions for RCVs and municipal fleet assets.
• Manage opportunities from prospecting through to contract award.
• Deliver revenue growth and fleet utilisation across the territory.
