Job summary

Dawsongroup EMC is seeking an Area Sales Manager to drive new business in the Waste and Municipal sector across a designated region. You will engage local authorities, waste operators and contractors, promoting contract hire and rental solutions for Refuse Collection Vehicles and municipal fleets.

You will manage long sales cycles, build senior-level relationships and aim to exceed revenue and fleet utilisation targets through proactive business development across your territory.

Qualifications

• Experience in waste, municipal, environmental or specialist fleet sales.
• Existing relationships with local authorities, waste operators or municipal contractors.
• Experience selling contract hire, rental, municipal fleet solutions, RCVs or specialist vehicles.
• Able to manage long sales cycles, tenders and commercial negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business opportunities for Refuse Collection Vehicles and municipal fleets.
• Target local authorities, waste operators and contractors to secure contracts.
• Convert customers to rental and contract hire solutions.
• Manage opportunities through the full sales cycle from contact to contract award.
• Deliver revenue, fleet utilisation and growth targets through proactive BD.
