Overview

Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager required to join a leading Manufacturer of industrial air filtration products and services. The successful Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager will work remotely, covering the UK, selling and managing key accounts of air filtration products and services at customer sites in various industries.

Role
  • Managing and developing a number of key accounts via distribution channels and OEM customers, selling air & gas filter solutions, liquid & process filtration solutions, filter & media consumables, industrial filter components, as well as service and after-market support.
  • Manage and grow existing relationships as well as business development, for Air filtration, dust and fume extraction, and similar filtration products, selling into new filtration sales with demonstration, exhibition, and negotiation to achieve targets.
  • Working closely with the Service Department to ensure an excellent standard of after-sales service is provided.
  • Liaise with various engineering departments.
  • Fully remote, covering the whole of the UK.
Requirements
  • Experience as a Key Account Manager, Account Manager, Area Sales Manager, Sales Engineer, Business Development Manager, Technical Sales Engineer or similar ideally within Air or Liquid filtration.
  • Experience selling or managing accounts within the fluid power sector, such as air filtration, Air filtration, Liquid Filtration, dust extraction, fume extraction, vacuum systems, or similar filtration products & services. Full training provided.
  • A Filtration Service Engineer looking to come off the tools and progress into a sales role would also be of interest.
  • A background within Filtration, air movement or dust and fume extraction would be greatly considered for this position.
  • A technical engineering qualification, an apprentice trained, or a degree would be advantageous.
  • Full clean driving license.
  • Willingness to travel across the UK, with occasional overnight stay.
