Job summary

Ovia Lighting Ltd. in the United Kingdom seeks an Area Sales Manager to drive growth across designated UK postcodes by promoting and selling the Ovia product range through electrical wholesalers and distribution partners.

You will manage your territory, build valuable customer relationships, and contribute to business growth within the Scolmore Group. You will travel extensively, maintain records, and develop territory plans to hit targets.

Qualifications

Full UK driving licence.
Strong IT skills with Microsoft Office.
Excellent communication, relationship-building and negotiation skills.
Ability to identify opportunities within existing and new accounts.
Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
Willingness to travel extensively across the territory and stay away from home as required.
GCSEs in English and Maths.

Responsibilities

Drive sales growth across the territory through account management and new business development.
Promote and sell the full Ovia product range to electrical wholesalers and distributors.
Develop relationships with key customers to increase market share.
Create and implement territory plans to maximise opportunities and hit targets.
Identify, qualify and convert new business opportunities while strengthening existing partnerships.
Maintain accurate customer records, sales activity, and pipeline updates.
Manage diary effectively to ensure productive customer engagement and territory coverage.
Ensure compliance with company policies and represent the business professionally.
