Job summary

Scolmore is seeking an Area Sales Manager to cover Essex, Cambridgeshire, Suffolk & Norfolk. This field-based role involves taking ownership of the territory, building strong relationships with electrical wholesalers and end users, and driving growth across the Scolmore product range.

The role requires travel across the territory, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to create effective territory plans to meet sales targets.

Qualifications

• GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Maths.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Strong IT and communication skills are essential.
• Experience in account management and field sales is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales growth across territory through account management and new business development.
• Promote full range of Scolmore products to electrical wholesalers and distribution partners.
• Develop relationships with key customers and identify opportunities to increase market share.
• Create territory plans to maximise opportunities and achieve targets.
• Maintain accurate customer records, sales activity and pipeline updates.
• Manage diary with planned visits to ensure coverage and engagement.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Represent the business professionally to act as ambassador for the Scolmore Group.
