Job summary

Field-based Area Sales Executive role covering the South East and South Central regions, promoting bespoke insulation systems for commercial and industrial roofing projects. A thorough induction is provided, with ongoing support from an internal technical team to design and quote for follow-ups.

The successful candidate will have B2B field sales experience, a drive to build long-term careers in construction sales, and strong communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Promote a bespoke tapered insulation system for commercial/industrial roofing projects.
• Win new-build and refurbishment projects with roofing contractors, facilities management, local authorities and flat roofing manufacturers.
• Identify opportunities and carry out site surveys, measurements and drawings.
• Collaborate with internal technical team to develop design and quotation for follow-up.
• Typically complete 2 surveys daily with sales appointments.
• Receive incoming leads and engage with an established prospect database.

Area Sales Executive – Roofing Insulation

A field sales role offering a thorough induction training programme, to promote bespoke insulation systems for commercial and industrial flat roofing projects.

Package:

• Circa £35k-£45k basic (depending on experience), with a £5k-£10k uncapped commission scheme.
• Company car or car allowance.
• 25 days holiday.
• 5% employer pension contributions.

The Role – Area Sales Executive:

• Following a thorough induction training programme, you will be promoting a bespoke tapered insulation system for commercial and industrial roofing projects
• Field based tracking and winning new-build and refurbishment projects with roofing contractors, facilities management companies, local authorities and flat roofing manufacturers
• Identifying project opportunities and carrying out site surveys, measurements and drawings
• Working closely with an internal technical team who will produce the design and quotation for you to follow up and close
• You’ll typically complete 2 surveys a day with your sales appointments built around them
• You will be supported with incoming leads, an established prospect database, and work alongside colleagues in another team that will help you track projects

The Successful Applicant – Area Sales Executive:

• You will already have field sales experience from within a B2B sector, and be confident developing existing relationships and winning new business
• Applicants with a building materials / construction background will be readily received, but is not essential
• You will be committed to building a long-term career within field sales in the construction sector
• Be driven, ambitious and commercially minded with a positive attitude and excellent communication and presentation skills
