Job summary

Bestway Group is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive sales across our retailer network in the M4 Corridor and surrounding areas. You will own end-to-end account management, implement growth strategies, and ensure profitability in line with budgets.

The ideal candidate has strong commercial acumen, proficiency in Excel and Word, excellent presenting and influencing skills, and a proactive, self-starting approach. Knowledge of health and safety and stakeholder management are essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand a profit and loss account and commercial/financial information.
• Ability to spot opportunities for growth and development.
• Outstanding presenting and influencing skills.
• A confident, driven, and enthusiastic self-starter attitude.
• Ability to prioritise and balance proactive and reactive work.

Responsibilities

• Achieve set sales plans and implement strategies to grow the area sales.
• Ensure profitability of the area in line with budgets and targets.
• Maximise retailer support for the independent brand.
• Oversee debt management with support functions.
• Manage capital expenditure proposals and budgets for members.
• Ensure key accounts and members are serviced with tailored support.
• Deliver business initiatives on time with ownership and right-first-time execution.
• Identify capital expenditure opportunities and work with the development team for strong conversions.
